Ok, so I already posted that I hit 205lbs on the bench press (decline at that). Today I add another maxed out machine - the free motion calf machine. 400lbs. 3 sets of 12 calf raises, followed by another calf machine (which uses plates). But first was just an easy set of split single leg squats, on the balls of the feet. Also increased my single arm row to 75#.

Let me know if anyone is interested in a filter for this, so you do not need to be bored with workout data.

Maybe I should hit the gym.

With a sledgehammer.

That would be a workout.

I take it that amused you.

Indeed. I had an image of a girl and sledgehammer starting in on the treadmills...

I'd save the treadmills for midway. I'm going after the speakers with the happy music first.

I'll happily be in on a workout filter! And congrats on maxing out yet another machine! :)

Just as long as you can always reach to wipe your ass without help... I'm not that good a friend.

The freeweight guys when I used to go to the gym always scared me. Freak roid monsters, with permanent bowlegs to avoid thigh chaffing and arms swinging way out like an action figure. Don't be that guy. ;)

No roids. Those give you acne. I don't need any more of that. I get enough zits even when I shower right after working out. Plus they have that whole shrinkage issue. Not good.

Actually I moderate my workouts, on about 4 week rotation:
  • heavy weights, few reps, 2-3 sets

  • medium weights, 10-12 reps, 2-3 sets

  • lighter weights, 12-15 reps, 3 sets

  • cardio phase, light weights, circuits

  • Plus all the cardio I do in kickboxing and the like.

I am definately interested in having the weight lifting stuff filtered out of what I read. I like the results though. :)

Those are actually pretty impressive numbers. I just bought an additional 140 lbs for my bench at home. I hope I become a little more enthusiastic about lifting now that I have more than 50 lbs to bench with. Every guy that visits the basement looks at my unused bench bar with amusement.
